(2) Is Akabar still under developement?

Yes. Akabar was a challenge set by Bioware. 6 months of time, 15 students of games Academy Berlin and the
Dragon Age Toolset. We met this challenge and we came up with a product, a playable mod.  But still, both
Bioware and the team agreed in the point, to give the child more time to grow.

But things sometimes take a different path. The team members left Games Academy and got jobs in the gaming
Industry. We had to relocate the developemnt server, establish new structures of communication and collaboration.
Vital members of the team simply had no spare time anymore to dedicate to the project. And so we fell way behind schedule.

But things have settled down now and we are again working full speed ahead.

(3) Is there a release date?

We are determined to deliver a polished quality mod, worth your time playing. Our goal is to release Akabar this summer,
but we won't rush things out. So let's just say: It's done when it's done.

(4) Can you tell me more about the mod, the story and the gameplay?

Akabar tells the classic story of a treasure hunt in a long forgotten ruin in a different way. The player arrives late,
following his old friend Gareth to a newly found and long abandoned Tevinter fortress.  But things are not as expected.
The expedition has failed, most of the members dead, killed, a massacre.

What happened here?

The few survivors tell their stories - but who tells the truth? What is the secret of Akabar?

The player actually plays the roles of the survivors and sees their stories through their own eyes and makes use of their personal abilities and skills. Akabar features special, tactical combat situations.

More will be revealed in the upcoming trailers and announcements.
